MCA Worship Night

Students at MCA gather together for a night of worship

Senior Ben Thomas sings at worship night

On Monday, October 13th, MCA held a student lead night of worship. They sang many different worship songs led by the Mckinney Christian worship band. Senior, Adam Gicheru, spoke about his faith and senior, Makennah Vann, gave her testimony. Makennah Vann said, “At first, I was really nervous, but I think it went really well, and I think it made a big impact”. The students enjoyed worship and free Chick-Fil-A. When asked about Worship Night freshman, Camden Holley, said, “I think the night went really well and I had a lot of fun I feel like I got closer with my friend’s and God”.

Carrington Lansford is currently a freshman and attending her fifth year at MCA. She enjoys playing basketball in the winter, cheering in the fall, and running track in the spring. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. This is her first year in newspaper as a staff writer and she is excited to be a part of it. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, ” I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Sadie Zbranek is currently a senior and has been at MCA for 12 years. This is her Third year in newspaper, and she is very excited to contribute to the MCA Mane Edition. Zbranek will be playing school soccer in the winter. She also loves to spend time with people who make her happy, her family and friends. She loves surrounding herself with the amazing MCA community. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength.”
