

On Thursday, October 16, the MCA varsity volleyball team played the Bishop Gorman Crusaders. The Lady Mustangs started the first set with a score of 25-16. They then finished the second set with a whopping score of 25-16. The Lady Mustangs wrapped up the third set with a score of 25-6. Senior, Sadie Blake, had eight kills. Junior, Tristyn Vineyard, had a total of ten digs. Tenth grader, Isabella Melton, shares her thoughts on the game, saying, “Our team played really well tonight, and everyone gave their best effort and stayed positive the whole game. I’m really proud of how we all stepped up and worked together to get the win.”

Eleventh grader, Bailey Gerardis, shares her thoughts on the game, saying, “Our serving was really strong tonight, and our teamwork made a big difference, and there were definitely some ups and downs during the match, but we didn’t let that stop us. We kept pushing through and found a way to finish it off together.”
The next game is Tuesday, October 20, against Dallas Christian.
