On Tuesday, October 21st, the McKinney Christian Academy Lady Mustangs volleyball team took on the Dallas Christian Chargers and won in straight sets. The Mustangs won the first set 25-21, then took the second set 25-10. The Chargers challenged in the third set, but the Mustangs closed it out 27-25 to secure the sweep. Freshman Abby Harding said, “We came, we set, we spiked, we won!” Head Coach Tara Ackmann said, “I’m proud of the girls for going undefeated in district and not dropping a set. I feel like with our district not being very strong, our preseason schedule has prepared us for district play and going into playoffs with a tougher postseason schedule.” The Lady Mustangs finished district play undefeated and will begin their playoff run on November 4.
