On Monday, October 20, the McKinney Christian Academy Lady Mustangs D1 and D2 teams played in their semi-final games. The D1 team played against Alcuin. They started off strong and won the first set, but Alcuin came back and won the next two sets, taking the match. The D2 team played against Dallas Covenant. They competed hard, but they couldn’t pull off the win, even though they gave it their best effort. It was a tough loss, but they made a great run to get to the semi-finals. Sixth grader, Adaline Castillo, talked about the game, saying, “Volleyball is fun! I just try my best and don’t give up.”
