On Monday, November 10, the Lady Mustangs girls’ varsity soccer team began their season with a 2–0 win over Brookhill. In the first half, senior, Tatum Barnard, scored the Mustangs’ first goal of the season, giving the team a 1–0 lead at halftime. In the second half, senior, Hannah Doshier, added another goal, bringing the final score to 2–0. The Mustangs maintained control throughout the match and held Brookhill scoreless, earning their first shutout of the season. The game marked the team’s first competition of the year, setting their record at 1–0.
Their next matchup will be against Fort Worth Christian on Thursday, November 13.
