On Thursday, November 13th, the D2 team for the Mustangs played TCA Addison and suffered a tough loss, 14–50. The D1 team for the Mustangs was a closer game. The Mustangs started off strong and kept it close leading into halftime. At halftime, the Mustangs were behind 14–18 but still very much in the game. Eighth grader, Malachi Blake, was the standout player, making strong plays and helping keep the Mustangs close. In the second half, TCA pulled ahead and MCA lost 18–27. The Mustangs learned a great deal from these games and are now ready to continue improving. The Mustangs will play again next week on Tuesday, November 18, against HSAA.
