On Monday, November 12, McKinney Christian Academy held its annual Golf Classic at Stonebridge Ranch Dye Course. Julie Kay Maguire dedicates an exceptional amount of time and effort each year to make this event possible. Two MCA students got the opportunity to participate in the Golf Classic thanks to student sponsorship. Despite the holdup in the event’s start caused by chilly Texas weather, this year’s golf classic had the largest turnout of golfers in the event’s history. The Ladies Luncheon was a huge success and took place during the Golf Classic. When Julie Kay Maguire was asked about the impact of the Golf Classic on the MCA community, she said, “MCA is such a special place, and events like this bring the community together.”
