On Tuesday, December 2, the McKinney Christian girls’ basketball team faced Bishop Dunne. The Mustangs won with a score of 40-27. The Lady Mustangs now have a record of 6-2. Sophomore, Harper Johnson, had 19 points. Sophomore, Petra Westra, added 12 points. Johnson was the leading scorer for the Mustangs. When we asked Sophomore, Cana Heckadon, how the game went, she said, “It was amazing being able to watch our team improve and know we will just get better from here.”
The Lady Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, at the S&S tournament.
