Varsity Girls Soccer Take the Win

Varsity Girls Soccer Defeat Lakehill Prep 3-0

On Monday, January 11, the Varsity Girls played Lakehill Prep at McKinney Christian Academy. They won 3-0 with goals from senior Tatum Bernard, senior Sadie Zbrank, and sophomore Elizabeth Thompson. When asked about how the girls performed in this game, freshman Kate Thomas said, “We played really great! I was so proud of the hard work we’ve been putting in all season. It’s so incredible to see all the effort pay off!” The girls’ next game is on Tuesday, January 20, against Dallas Christian.

Grey Royal is currently a freshman and entering her fifth year at McKinney Christian Academy. She enjoys cheering for her school during the fall and winter seasons. However, during the spring, she runs track for the school. In her free time, she spends most of her time cheering competitively. Grey is excited for her first year of writing as a staff writer for the Mane Edition and is grateful for this opportunity.  Her favorite bible verse is Psalms 91:7-8, which reads:  “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
