On Thursday, January 15, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs middle school boys basketball teams faced a hard game against Prestonwood Christian Academy competing hard in both D2 and D1. In the Middle School D2 game the Mustangs battled but fell to Prestonwood Christian by a score of 62–16. Eighth grader, Conner Vinciguerra, led McKinney Christian in scoring and showed strong effort throughout the game.
The Middle School D1 Mustangs also faced off against Prestonwood and was defeated 68–23. Eighth grader, Malachi Blake, was the leading scorer for the Mustangs offensively. The Mustangs played hard in both games but fell to PCA in both D1 and D2. The Mustangs next game is on Saturday, January 17 where they will compete in a tournament.
