Urban, Fog, and Downey participated in TPSMEA Solo + Ensemble and received Division ratings on Grade 1 solos, with Urban and Downey continuing to State in May. When asked how the competition went, Downey said, “The Solo contest went great. All of us received a first division, which is the highest score you can achieve. I think that I did pretty well, I achieved my goal of getting a one on my solo!”
