Lady Mustangs Stay Undefeated in District

This last week was an important one for the Varsity girls soccer team. On Monday, they started off the week by traveling all the way to Waco to play Waco Reicher. The Mustangs pulled out a victory and won 6-0. Elyse Mead stated, “This was probably one of my favorite games we have played all season. We did really well against Waco Reicher and scored a lot. On the way home we celebrated by going by The Czech Stop which was a highlight for everyone.” Later that week, the Lady Mustangs played Dallas Covenant, their rival team. Despite the intense game, the Mustangs ended up winning 2-0. The goals were scored by Emma Thompson and Kate Witte. Brooke Fillebrown stated, “The Dallas Covenant game was very exciting for us! It was the best game we have played all year.”
