The Lady Mustangs Softball team played and defeated two teams this past week. On Tuesday, April 4, the Varsity Softball team won against Carrollton’s Prince of Peace Eagles. The Mustangs beat the Panthers with a score of 11-1. Team captain Lexi Vance said, “I wish this was a District Game so this could go toward our stats, but I am glad we got to play because we always need some practice. I am proud of how we played.”

The following Friday the Lady Mustangs played a district game against the Arlington Pantego Panthers. McKinney Christian Academy’s Varsity softball team travelled all the way to Arlington to play on their home field. The Mustangs defeated the Panthers 13-6. The team now 2-2 in district and sits in second place, under Lubbock Christian.

The Mustangs are scheduled to play Arlington Pantego Christian Academy on Thursday April 13.  The game is at MCA at 2:00. Make sure to come out and support those Lady Mustangs.
