Summer 2017 was an exciting one for the Middle School girls cheer squad. Five girls were selected for All-American. This is a huge honor as only 10% of cheerleaders make All-American, and 5 out of MCA’s 12 girls made the cut. These girls are invited to perform in the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade. These cheerleaders are:

• Belle Kanz
• Campbell May
• Maddie Simmons
• Jeannette Taylor
• Samantha Verbsky

Also, while competing in a competition, Middle School Cheerleaders earned a “Superior” (the highest) rating. Because of this, they are invited to perform during half-time of a bowl game (the Orange Bowl), in Florida on New Year’s day.
