About 34,000 commended students are being recognized for their excellence in academics, and one of those students goes to MCA.  At chapel on September 20, Ren Willis was presented with a Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). Commended students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2018 competition. Willis scored in the top two to three percent nationwide on his SAT and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. MCA is so proud of Willis’ dedication to his studies and his use of the God-given abilities he was blessed with. Willis not only focuses on his studies, but he also participates in many sports here at MCA. Willis is participating in football this fall season. Balancing between school and sports is something many student-athletes have to do.
