Home for the Holidays — A McKinney Christmas

This past weekend Downtown McKinney hosted their annual Home for the Holidays event. There were different street vendors, petting zoos, fair rides, and Christmas themed Photo-Ops.

This past weekend Downtown McKinney hosted their annual Home for the Holidays event. The event was filled with lots of different fun activities including fair rides, petting zoos, pictures with the Grinch, and of course Santa. Freshman, Olivia Proctor went to Home for the Holidays with her friend Freshman, Alessia Catullo and they both said, “Home for the Holidays was really fun and we enjoyed taking cute pictures by the tree.” The streets of Downtown were filled different vendors selling anything from food to Christmas themed home decor. Shop owners said that the excessive amount of people that came through their shops was excellent for business.  Many different MCA families enjoyed the three day event. Home for the Holidays allows families to create lasting memories in their hometown of McKinney, Texas. Friday through Sunday the streets of Downtown McKinney were filled with food, fun, laughter, and the Spirit of Christmas.
