The MCA varsity boys basketball team took home a win against Coram Deo on January 12th. Winning 55-47, the team is tied for second place in district with a record of 2-1. Head Coach, Cary Bartoo, said that Joseph Shaver, senior, had a great game by helping the team with 15 points and eight rebounds. Mitchell Tyler, sophomore, also made a good impression with 10 points and nine rebounds. Bartoo said, “We had good success at their place and I anticipate when we play them at home, we will play even better.” All in all, the MCA basketball team is striving for first place in district and looking at a successful season. The Mustangs will take on Waco Vanguard Friday January 19th.
