The Lady Mustangs had a tournament on Friday and Saturday. Their first game on Friday the Mustangs played the JV Irving Highlands team, they won 5-1. Freshman, Emma DeMaagd and Micah McDowell both scored a goal.

Sophomore, Maddie Grace Gwynn scored three goals. Gwynn said,

“This tournament was a great opportunity for the team to get game experience and grow as a team. It was super fun playing with the girls!”

Later on Friday the Mustangs played the TCA-Addison JV team they lost 1-5. Yet, they still advanced to the next round on Saturday. The Lady Mustangs played Irving Highlands JV on Saturday, the score was tied 1-1 and the Mustangs lost 2-4 in PK’s. The JV Snowball Tournament was a good opportunity for players to get some valuable playing time and experience.
