The MCA boys basketball team played Waco Vanguard on Friday, January 19 for the MCA Wild Week game. The team played hard but lost 41-58, now holding a record of 2-3. Joseph Shaver, senior basketball player, said, “The team played a tough game against Vanguard on Friday, but I think that we can turn our season around and place pretty high in district if we continue to work hard.” The next home game will be against Waco Reicher on Tuesday, January 23 at 7:30.
