The Varsity girls basketball team played Colleyville Covenant on Tuesday, February 20th at Trinity Christian Academy. Both teams knew what was at stake, win or go home. The Mustangs fought hard and played to the best of their ability. Unfortunately for the Mustangs, they came up short and lost 48-37. Had they won, they would have advanced to the state semi-finals. The Varsity Mustangs had an unfortunate end to the season, but played hard their last game. Sophomore Jolie Clow led the Mustangs with a game high of 12 points while Senior captain Marissa Wilks was only held to nine points.  Wilks comments about the season, “I had so much fun this season growing as a team. We really improved throughout the season and I am proud of my last season of MCA basketball.”
