On February 24, the TPSMEA (Texas Private School Music Educators Association) Middle School Honor band took place. The concert was held at The Greenhill School at the Marshall Family Performing Arts Center. Their clinician for the weekend was Princeton High School band director Brandon Brewer. The two students chosen to participate in the event were, eighth graders, Abigail Dahl and Tyler Carpenter. This was Dahl’s second year to make the band on french horn. She went from being last chair her first year to first chair this year.  Dahl swept the competition in both public and private school competitions this year.  Carpenter made the band on euphonium and made second chair. MCA Band Director Ken Snow said, “I couldn’t be more proud of these two as a band director and they both shine as top musicians on their instruments in our band program.”
