Last week the McKinney Christian Varsity Softball Team had two games. Their first game was on Tuesday dropping a game to Grapevine Faith. The final score was 12-20. Junior Scout Mayberry said,” This was a tough game and there are things that we need to improve on, but I think we can get there. I am really excited for the rest of the the season.” On Thursday the Lady Mustangs dropped another game to Lucas Christian Academy. At this game both teams agreed to do something different and they made it a rule that each inning there was only five runs allowed per inning. Unfortunately, the Lady Mustangs lost their second game of this week with the final score being 14-20. Senior Abby Kistner said,” We fought hard this game and next game we are going to work even harder.” The Lady Mustangs play next Tuesday against district opponent Coram Deo.
