Last Monday and Tuesday the Softball team drove up to Lubbock to play Lubbock Christian. The first game ended with the score being 0-16. Coach McDowell said, “Although we lost our team still had many good plays.” The softball team stayed the night in Lubbock and woke up the next morning to play their final district game of the season at 11. Even though the result was a loss of 4-19 the Mustangs finished out the season strong. Junior second baseman Scout Mayberry said, “I am so sad to see that the season has ended, but I am excited for next year because I think if we work on some minor things our season is going to go great next year!”
