On April 19th, the Middle School track team travelled to Prince of Peace Christian School for a track meet. The team participated in events such as the long jump, 4×200, 100, and much more. The girls 4×100 relay team, Tatum Barnard, 7th, Jaden Brock, 8th, Kadence Ackmann, 8th, and Davie Anne Kitzmiller, 8th, came close to breaking a record but came up .3 seconds short in their race. When asked about her favorite part of the track meet, 7th grader Mary LeBlanc said, “I enjoyed running the 200 and getting to hang out with my friends in between races. I also like getting to cheer on my friends during their relays.”
