Success at the TAPPS Regional Swim Meet

Two McKinney Christian Academy swimmers qualify for the TAPPS State meet after Regionals.

On Saturday, January 29, two McKinney Christian Academy swimmers traveled to Mansfield, Texas to participate in the inaugural TAPPS Regional swim meet. Freshman Carter Kincheloe recorded personal best times in both events he competed in.  He finished first place in the 200 Free-style with a time of 1:48.66 and finished first overall in the 100 Free-style with a time of 48.95.  Junior Tiffany Nordstrom finished second in the 200 Individual Medley (all four strokes) and third place in the 100 Backstroke.  Kincheloe and Nordstrom will advance in both of their individual events to the State Championship in San Antonio on February 8.
