The TAPPS State Swim Meet took place on Friday February 11. Freshman Carter Kincheloe and Junior Tiffany Nordstrom competed for McKinney Christian Academy. Kincheloe placed 3rd in state in the 100 free, and 4th in state in the 200 free. When asked about his performance, Kincheloe stated ”I felt great, the first and second place were Juniors and Seniors so doing so well as a Freshman was great.” Nordstrom placed 6th in state in the 200 IM, and 7th in  state in the 200 backstroke. Nordstrom was also awarded TAPPS Academic All State. Nordstrom and Kincheloe were both nervous but excited going into the TAPPS State Swim Meet. Nordstrom was most looking forward to the 200 backstroke, the event she came 7th in State.
