Mustangs Head into Baseball Playoffs

The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs baseball team faced off against Legacy Christian Academy in the first round of playoffs. The Mustangs played hard and managed to secure a 4-2 win. Junior Jackson Pope was the pitcher for 4.1 innings, which is the duration of the matchup. The MCA Mustangs had four hits with freshman Mark Jensen hitting a double that opened up the game. Freshman Judd Witte also got a double later on in the game. Senior Greg Jessup got a save and pitched 2.2 innings. The Mustangs were up 3-2 when sophomore Jax Marshall hit a homerun and secured the win against Legacy Christian. The MCA Mustangs play against Fort Worth Christian away at 7 p.m. for the second round of playoffs.
