The McKinney Christian Academy Varsity Football team hosted the First Baptist Saints on Friday, September 2, at Ron Poe Stadium. This game’s theme was Neon Night, so all of the students dressed up in neon apparel to support their Mustangs. They fought hard, battling with injuries and ended the game with a final score of 28-49, First Baptist coming out on top. There were many highlights of the game including junior Noah Wheeler’s kickoff return for a touchdown. When Wheeler was asked about the game, he said, “Going into our next game, we next to start better playing as a team and also finish with more energy to hopefully get our first win.” The football team will play at Pantego Christian Academy on Friday, September 9th, at 7pm.
