On Thursday, October 27, McKinney Christian Academy’s Middle School football team battled against the Dallas Covenant Knights. The Mustangs were looking to keep their winning streak alive and finish the season with a bang. The Mustangs fought hard and came out on top winning 40-6. After the game, eighth grader Landon McKeehan stated, “We played absolutely wonderful, it was the best game we’ve played yet in my opinion.” Although it was a sweet finish for the Mustangs, it was also a sour one due to the eighth graders finishing off their middle school careers. Eighth grader Joey Gunn said’ “What I am going to miss most about middle school football is putting a whoop on opposing teams and getting wins with the boys.” This game completed their season with a winning record of 5-4.
