On Friday, October 28, the McKinney Christian Academy Football team hosted the Dallas Christian Chargers at Ron Poe Stadium for their Senior Night game. The Mustangs did not show up in this district game as they remained scoreless throughout the game. On the other hand, Dallas Christian put up a total of 60 points, scoring most of them in the first two quarters of the game. The Mustangs ended up losing 60-0 on this rainy Friday night.

With this game being Senior Night, each of the three seniors on the football team was recognized as the 2022 football season is coming to an end. Class of 2023 seniors included Emilio Sanchez, Matthew McDowell and Justin McCareins. When asked about the 2022 season, senior Sanchez said, “It’s had its ups and downs. I couldn’t have asked for a better senior season though. This season is going to be a good foundation for next year’s team.”

Their last regular season game is away on November 4 against Brook Hill in Bullard, Texas.
