On Thursday, November 17, the McKinney Christian Academy Varsity girls soccer team hosted Tyler Grace Community. According to Coach Wendy McDowell, “Tyler Grace has always been a huge rivalry game for the girls soccer team.” Even with the rivalry in effect, the Mustangs were feeling confident heading into this game as the final score exhibited their confidence with it being 3-1. All of the goals for the Mustangs were scored by junior Ava Thompson. When asked about her performance, Thompson said, “It was a great feeling to score the goals and to walk away with a win. I always love celebrating a win with my team and I’m so excited for this season.” In the end, this game improved the team’s record to 4-0, remaining undefeated.
