S&S Varsity Girls Basketball Tournament

On Thursday, December 1, McKinney Christian Academy’s girls varsity basketball team traveled to Sadler, Texas to compete in the S&S Consolidated School District Tournament. The girls traveled for three days and competed in a total of four games. On Thursday, the Mustangs played Muenster High School and lost 71-29. On Friday, December 2, the girls played Blue Ridge High School at 9:00 a.m. and won 39-23. Later that day at 3:40 p.m., the girls played Gainesville High School and won 43-34. On the last day of the tournament, December 3, the Mustangs lost 21-54 to Bowie High School. Senior Abby Thomas said, “Having a tournament early in the season helps us prepare for district play. We are able to establish team chemistry on the court.” The Lady Mustangs play Legacy Christian Academy at home on Monday, December 5.
