On Saturday, December 3rd, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School boys wrestling team had their first meet at Allen High School. Eighth grader Dusty Thibodeaux shared his thoughts going into the matchup saying, “I’m a little nervous but I’m also really excited. We have been working really hard for our first meeting for a while now, and I’m ready to show my skill.” Thibodeaux ended up going 2-2 in his first Middle School wrestling match ever. Seventh grader Andrew Doering went 4-0 in his first match and said, “I think I need to work on my takedowns and being more efficient in how I make those moves, but it was also my first wrestling match, so it’s only up from here.” The team looks to improve from their first match.

The boys have their next match on Wednesday, December 7th.
