On Tuesday, January 10, the McKinney Christian Academy boys soccer team faced off against Irving Highlands School in a home game. The Mustangs beat Irving Highlands with a final score of 4-2. Senior Emilio Sanchez shared his post-game thoughts, “We played really well, we passed the ball well. There was some craziness in the game when a red card got called, but we have to learn to push through it and win those types of games if we want to win district this year.” The Mustangs look to win district this year and make a deep playoff run.

Here was Hannah Doshier of the McKinney Christian Mustangs thoughts after the win, “We started the game off slow in the first half and then we scored seven goals in the second half and really picked it up, the other team wasn’t ready for us to come out like that with that level of intensity in the second half of play, this was a great opportunity for us to improve.”
