On Tuesday, January 10, The McKinney Christian Academy varsity baseball team took a trip to Main Event for the Game Strikes and Scholarship event. This event is an opportunity for kids and young adults with special needs and disabilities to foster growth in the individual and their love for baseball. This is all accomplished while also advancing servant leadership. The Mustangs who attended the event were sophomores Judd Witte and Teague Spivey and juniors Caden Brown and Jacob Webb and coach Brady James. These boys were paired up with Alex from St. Timothy Christian Academy. Witte said, “It was a great experience to get to talk with Alex, we had a lot of fun talking about baseball and I hope we get to see him at a game this year.”

The McKinney Christian Baseball team will play their first game against Tyler Grace at home on February 3.
