On Tuesday, February 7 the McKinney Christian Academy varsity girls soccer team traveled to Dallas to face off against the Shelton Chargers. The Lady Mustangs came out on top beating the Chargers 10-0. The Mustangs had goals by freshmen Lizzie Gutschlag, Sadie Zbranek, Tatum Barnard, sophomore Amanda Goss, junior Ava Thompson, seniors Preslea Wilson, Sarah Krusing, Kate Nordhaus and Leigh Evan Kitzmiller scoring two goals. When asked about the win Thompson said, “The game went very good and it was great to our teamwork and connect on the field. We all love playing together and winning makes all the hard work worth it.” The Mustang’s next game is on Thursday, February 9 against Colleyville Covenant.
