On Friday February 17, McKinney Christian Academy’s Mustang Girls soccer team faced off against Prince of Peace Christian School for the first round of playoffs. The Mustangs came out victorious winning 3-0. Goals came from senior Kate Nordhaus, senior Preslea Wilson and freshman Hannah Doshier. Doshier adds that “The girls on Prince of Peace were really aggressive but it was easy to pass around them and we were able to secure a win. I think our team chemistry is why we secured a win. Our top goal scorer, Ava Thompson was injured, so some of the girls, including myself had to really try to score.” Their next game will be against Lakehill Prep on Tuesday February 21.
