On March 13, The McKinney Christian Academy junior varsity baseball team faced off against Cornerstone Christian Academy in a home game. Before the game junior Wyatt Tessier gave his thoughts, “I’m just excited to get an opportunity to play and get some reps in.” The Mustangs came out on top winning 12-8. After the game Tessier said, “I think we had discipline and we started quickly and were locked in, but we got distracted and unfocused, but we were able to lock back in and come out on top.” On March 14, the varsity baseball team faced off against Prince of Peace at home. The Mustangs ended up on top 11-1. After the game Coach Brady James said, “I think we executed our game plan perfectly, junior Marc Jensen didn’t allow any hits and we had a good approach at the plate.”

The JV Mustangs will play an away game against Prestonwood North on Monday, March 20 and the varsity Mustangs will face off against Pantego Christian at home on Tuesday, March 21.
