Mckinney Christian Academy’s Varsity Baseball Squad Split their District Series vs. Dallas Shelton

On Tuesday April 4 and Thursday April 6 McKinney Christian Academy faced off against Dallas Shelton for a district series. The outcome of Tuesday’s game was a Shelton win with a score of 6-2. The score of Thursday’s game was a Mustang win with a final score of 1-0. A major piece of that win was junior Connor Jarzombek with a shutout performance and tallying seven strikeouts. Jarzombek was asked how he felt after getting the shutout win he replied, “It felt great after winning that game putting us much closer to first place and much closer to getting a district title. Head Coach Brady James also said, “Splitting with a good time is always a good thing, you wish you could sweep but a split with a good team is nothing to be ashamed about. I’m super proud of Connor for the way he threw against Shelton.” MCA’s next matchup is at home against Dallas Christian on Tuesday, April 11.
