On Tuesday April 4, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School softball team hosted Prince of Peace Christian School. Coming into this game, seventh grader Isabella Melton said,”This is a must needed win, after coming from a loss last game, we need to get a win to build some momentum.” As the game progressed, the Lady Mustangs would make a comeback but ultimately would fall short at the last out, losing 8-9. Seventh grader Harper Johnson had some comments about the game,”We could’ve improved our offense all around, and we need to learn how to field the ball better, but we ran the bases very well and had very good communication all around.” Their next game is away against Grapevine Faith on Tuesday, April 11.
