On Tuesday, November 7, McKinney Christian Academy girls varsity basketball team played against Coram Deo Plano. It began with the boys varsity taking the court followed by the Lady Mustangs in the first annual White Out game. The Mustangs had a started off strong not allowing Coram Deo to ever catch up finishing with a score of 54-24. Sophomore Sadie Zbranek led the team with 24 points and senior Emily Barnhill scored 9 points. Barnhill adds, ” It was great to start off my senior season with a win. I thought it was a decent game for me performance wise considering I was coming off a ankle injury. As a team we can take that win and run with it. I am also proud of how we all played as a team to pull through the win.”
The Lady Mustangs next game is against PCA North on Thursday November 16th.
