On Tuesday, April 16, the Varsity baseball team hosted Tyler All-Saints in a district game. It was also senior night for the Mustangs honoring all spring sports. The baseball seniors were honored last for their commitment to the program for four years. The seniors include Jacob Webb, Landen Jones, Caden Brown, Wyatt Tessier, Connor Jarzombek who holds the school record for all time games pitched, and Jax Marshall who holds the school record for hits and home runs. The Mustangs crushed All-Saints with a final score of 13-1 with a grand slam hit by Marshall and a three hit performance from Jarzombek. With this win. the Mustangs improved to an 8-2 record in district and will face Tyler All-Saints again on Friday, April 19, for game two of the series.

Jax Marshall is a currently a Senior and has been attending MCA since 8th grade. Marshall is excited for his Second year in newspaper and to write new things that happen in sports this year. Outside of school Marshall loves to play baseball and spend time with his friends and family. Marshall's favorite memory at MCA was going to the baseball state championship for TAPPS his junior year.
