On Monday April 23 the McKinney Christian Academy varsity boys and girls golf team played in the Regionals tournament at Luna Vista golf course. The boys teams placed fourth with a combined score of 319 overall for the tournament and advance to State. The boys were led by Alvin Ma shooting an 77 and captain Jude Westra shooting an 79. When asked about how the tournament went Westra said, “ I’m really glad we played well, we have been practicing a lot for big tournaments like these. We have a good shot to go far in state.” The Mustangs next tournament will be April 29 and 30 for the State Tournament at Squaw Valley Golf Course.
