On Monday April 15th, the McKinney Christian Mustangs went against the Covenant Knights for a district matchup at home. Senior, Landen Jones started on the mound for the Mustangs. Jones recorded 21 outs, he only allowed one hit and zero runs over seven innings. Jones struck out five and walked three. The first run for the Mustangs was hit by Junior, Judd Witte. The second run was scored by junior, John Clark by an inside the park home run in the bottom of the sixth. The Mustangs ended up winning 2-0. When asked about the game Jones said, “It was a great game for the team. Im very proud of John Clark and Judd Witte.”
McKinney Christian Academy’s next game will be against All Saints on Tuesday, April 16th.
