On Tuesday, September 24, the McKinney Christian Academy environmental science class visited the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) in Dallas, Texas. The students started out in the scientific Founder’s Hall to learn about the various scientists who worked to prove creation over evolution using science, including Johannes Kepler, Louis Pasteur, Robert Boyle, Isaac Newton and many more. Then, the students took a seat in the planetarium to view the creation of the solar system and planets. They got to have an inside look at active research taking place at ICR. Last, they walked through various exhibits representing the Ark, Dinosaurs, Ice Age and Jesus’ life. Upon arrival, senior Sayler Wood said, “I loved going on the field trip to ICR. We all had a great time and learned a lot of detailed evidence about creation through God. This furthered my faith and put me firm in my belief that God is the creator of our universe.”
