On Tuesday, December 9, the Christmas Fine Arts Show happened once again. The Fine Arts Showcase began with the Art show displaying student’s work over the semester. These pieces ranged from abstract art music, balloon animal drawings, origami drawings, scratchboard animals, biblical landscapes, and contour drawings. The Choir and Band Departments performed a variety of Christmas and Holiday selections. The choirs sang songs like Sleigh Ride and Noel, Noel, while the Mustang Band performed pieces including Jingle Bells and The Polar Express. The show had a packed house and ended with a sing along with the audience. When asked about the concert, Choir Director, Amy Jordan, said, “I love this time of the year when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and do it through song. My favorite part of the concert was when all the Choir members came together and sang ‘All Is Well’ for our audience. It’s a great reminder of the peace and promise of salvation that Christ brought to us.”
