On Thursday, October 10, the Middle School Mustang football team faced off against the Shelton School. The Middle School team had a pre-game verse, and it was Proverbs 3:5-6. This verse was about trusting in the Lord and always keeping going even whenever things get complicated. To kick off the game, the Mustangs received the ball and 8th grader Devin Manigo would take the kickoff for a touchdown. After this Shelton would drive right down the field and score, but the Mustangs would not look back and by half time it was 28-7. The Mustangs continued to score and by the end of the game the Mustang Middle School football team won 41-7.
