On Tuesday, October 22, the McKinney Christian Academy Lady Mustangs faced off against Dallas Christian. Because it was Senior Night, all four seniors got recognized with a memorable video, flowers, and a gift from the team. The varsity team started fast with lots of energy. The Mustangs scored points early to create a lead in all three sets. The Lady Mustangs won this game in three sets. As a result of their win, they are now district champions. Sophomore Alexis Guerrero led the team with 12 aces. Senior Bren Williams talked about the game saying, “We all played with a lot of energy and we were playing for each other not just ourselves.”
The Lady Mustangs’ next game will be on Tuesday, November 5, for the area playoffs.
