On Monday, October 28, The Lower School fifth graders took a field trip. They went on a bus to the Arboretum in Dallas, Texas. At the Arboretum, they were taught a lesson about patterns in nature. The students then did a bunch of hands-on activities involving them. Kaleidoscopes were given to the kids to see these bright and colorful patterns. They also got to draw many different patterns in the sand. After lunch, they got to go to the pumpkin patch area. At the patch, they played with pumpkins and had the opportunity to play in the “Pumpkin Houses.” The Students ended the day by going through a hay maze.
