On Friday, November 8, the McKinney Christian Academy Varsity basketball team wins against the Harvest Saints. The Lady Mustangs started the game by getting the first layup. They blew out the other team with a score of 50-34. Freshman Elizabeth Thompson shared her thoughts saying,” The game went well, we worked together as a team and everyone had a good amount of playing time. I would like to shout out my teammate Dylan Neuner because she got a great three. She also did good down in the paint.” Their next game is on Tuesday, November 12.

Presley Dreffs has been at MCA since 4th grade and is currently a freshman. This is her first year of newspaper and she is excited for all the opportunities this year will bring. Presley is apart of the MCA volleyball program, but also enjoys playing it outside of school. In her freetime, Presley enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. Her favorite memory is when the softball coach surprised the softball team with Nerf guns and water balloons.
Presley's favorite verse is Philippians 4:6.
